We’re pleased to introduce our 2016 Jubaea Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested exclusively from our Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard whose rows wrap the warm, south-facing hillside of our estate.
Esteemed Napa Valley winemaker, Steve Matthiasson has created an aromatic, dark and balanced wine. On the palate, full fruit flesh, black cherry with marionberry accents. This wine is balanced; depth without heaviness, and a clean finish. This focused and poised Cabernet fans out with a long mineral finish.
We’ve been growing highly rated organically farmed Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for decades and are happy to share our inaugural release with you. 2016 was a perfect growing season, average early spring rain fall led to a warm dry late summer to ripen the grapes to perfection. The grapes were harvested with a level of freshness rarely found in Napa Cabernet.
