Jubaea Estate lies just within Napa Valley’s western border, along the foothills of the Mayacamas mountain range. Our vineyard is planted on a southern-facing hillside, where rocky soils force the grapevines into a beneficial struggle for water and nutrients, encouraging them to send all their energy to fruit development. Warm sun ripens the fruit to full varietal expression, while chilly fog from the nearby San Pablo Bay maintains the grapes’ natural acidity. Wines produced from this spot exhibit rich concentration and fine hillside tannins.
